If you set preserveTaxonomyNames = true in config you cannot use taxonomy names with capital letters as references to taxonomy pages link to lower case names.

A link to tag "Foo" links to /tags/foo instead to /tags/Foo.

The taxonomy itself is rendered and accessible under /tags/Foo
