  • Install a script with an @icon http://... (e.g. http://gist.github.com/351821 ).
  • Open the source file, and edit it, to change the @icon URL to a valid image.

At this point, the script has no icon at all in the add-ons manager. Restarting Firefox seems to make it appear.
