I don't see that patch working in Firefox 4RC1. It appears to be a bigger problem, in that the Addon object is cached, but re-installing removes the script object from the config, replacing it with a new one. At this point, the cached addon object can't find where its cached script object is in the config (and thus figure out its execution order).
