Would it be possible for you to release a new version of this gem with the binary built against 10.9 or newer sdk? This is required for notarization and it'd be lovely to not have to rebuild everything in my pipeline.

Hi @jonsmorrow version 0.11.0 has been released with mac M1 support, that should also fix this issue, please give it a try.

Thanks. I’m no longer on the project that used this but it should unlock some past colleagues.

@thibaudgg I gave it a try today and it looks like Apple's notarization service still flags this binary as being built with too old of a SDK:

* error for path "chef-workstation-21.5.449-1.x86_64.dmg/chef-workstation-21.5.449-1.x86_64.pkg/chef-workstation-core.pkg Contents/Payload/opt/chef-workstation/embedded/lib/ruby/gems/2.7.0/gems/rb-fsevent-0.11.0/bin/fsevent_watch": The binary uses an SDK older than the 10.9 SDK.
