Model Name: iPhone SE MMXA3LL/A
Software Version: 17.3
App version: 2023.12.1 (2023.508)

HA core: 2024.1.5

No Change Password option when viewing a person in the app. Option does exist when viewing from browser.

Reproduce by comparing Settings > People > Name in iOS app and browser.

Expect option available.

Could you send a screenshot of what you see? Since you have an iPhone SE it could be that it's hidden under the bottom safe area, but a screenshot would help defining that

Is the user logged in (the one when you took the screenshot) an administrator or same user as you are trying to change the password?

In the case of the screenshots, the user logged in is me, I'm using an iPhone SE, I am an admin and the screenshots are for 2 of my family members. If I login via the browser, the button appears.

I got a friend to login to his system (he is an admin) and he doesn't get the button either when using the iOS app.

Based on my limited sample size, it would seem the button doesn't appear when using the iOS app. Is this true or is it just us?

Im currently trying to find a pattern, on my 3 iPhones the button is shown.
Does your friend also has iPhone SE?

By the way there is an update for the app, 2024.1

I just tested it with my wife's iPhone 13 (MLPF3X/A) running iOS 17.2.1 and the change password button doesn't appear for her either.

I've sent a message to my friend asking what phone he has - waiting for response.

Yes, I saw the new app release with CarPlay has come out. Having trouble working out how to upgrade the app. The app store isn't letting me and I can't find a button in the app...

So I got the app to update on my iPhone SE to 2024.1 (2024.535) by updating HA core to 2024.1.6. The change password option still hasn't appeared.
