Even with 324565b trying to make the application load from $PUBLIC_FOLDER_PATH/waifus, that is not the case.

In the html it just shows as <img id="waifu" src="" alt="Cute pic or meme">

I've set PUBLIC_FOLDER_PATH = /mnt/lewd/public in my .env and /mnt/lewd/public/waifus contain more than 50 files, yet none are picked up.
