The Corona project is sponsored by MarkLogic Corporation and was initiated by Eric Bloch and the MarkLogic Developer Community. Being the community manager, Eric recognized a need to provide developers who didn't know XQuery access to the power of MarkLogic Server. With this need in mind, Ryan Grimm has been working to design and implement a solution. Extremely valuable input, course checking and feedback on design decisions has also come from Jason Hunter. Nuno Job contributed the initial set of tests and John Snelson contributed a new JSON parsing architecture which now lives at http://github.com/marklogic/mljson
Corona also makes use of Norm Walsh's http://github.com/marklogic/ml-rest-lib library for exposing REST end points.
