*** QUESTS
So, what I was thinking for quests
is to do something like
special hooks for a bunch of things
changing locations, an enemy dying, etc.
but there'd be a thing where you could add
method advice to *any* command
SYNTAX
add_advice(
hook => 'command:jump',
type => 'around',
block => sub {
...
}
);
add_advice(
hook => 'move',
type => 'after',
block => sub {
...
}
);
depending on the hook (and advice type), different
arguments would be passed to the block
QUESTS AS PLUGINS
So each quest would be its own file. You wouldn't add in special-case stuff
in each command code or anything like that. The only changes would be special-
case hooks, which would only have to be added once, used everywhere (by future
quest plugins)
WISHLIST
Hopefully I get far enough to justify actually making a quests
system in the first place!
