In addition to #519 it would be nice to be able to specify mbuffer -w <timeout>. Perhaps replace the current mbuffer-size option with a more generic mbufferargs option?

I just realized that a temporary workaround is to populate ~/.mbuffer.rc with any preferred non-default option settings.
