can't open url when "set noautocomplete"

After I've added "set noautocomplete" to .Vromerc, I can't open url, or open new tab.
I press "o", type "google.com", press enter and nothing happens. Same story if I type "http://google.com". Same behaviour with "t" command. If I type "google test" instead of url, nothing happens either.

Am I missing something, or is it a bug?

My Vrome version is 2.9.8, and my Chrome version is "40.0.2214.115 m".
