* Name
TeF (pronounce as "Te-Fu": former tex-modoki)
 
* Overview

 TeF is aiming to become a subset of plain TeX implementation. 
 It's implemented with Gauche Scheme interpreter.

* Feature

 Instead of DVI or PDF, it is intended to generate a plain-old HTML file with CSS 2.1.  
 Being fully compliant with TeX's macro language, it could support LaTeX or other packages. 

* Usage

 > gosh -I . main.scm -o html sample/sample.tex > result.html

[2009-05-28] First version.
[2010-06-14] The real-lexer, a former experimental branch, is now the master.
[2010-10-18] Add main.
