Hides the number of likes received on Facebook posts so you can stop comparing yourself to everyone else.
Facebook is not a popularity contest. When you share something, share it because you care about your friends, and not because you just want to have the most number of likes on your post. Hiding the likes and shares on posts, comments, and news feed items lets you have a meaningful conversation instead.

Drag and drop the downloaded .crx
file into Google Chrome's "extensions" tab.
Go to the releases section and download the latest crx
file. After you are finished downloading this file (it should be named something like HideTheLikes.version.number.crx
), drag and drop it into Google Chrome's "extensions" tab. Tested on Chrome version 20+.
Run
$ git clone https://github.com/billmei/HideTheLikes.git
Open Google Chrome and go to Settings -> Extensions (or go to chrome://extensions
). Check the box on the top-right to enable Developer Mode. In the toolbar that appears, click on Load Unpacked Extension then select the folder HideTheLikes/Chrome Extension/
