option to keep query formatting and options in tact please?

Hi, is it possible to add an option to queries marked public that would keep the formatting set in the query?
for example sort order, rendering parameters, and columns should be honoured if this flag is set. (I'm trying to use this plugin as a global blog, filtering on particular tracker entries). The technique works fine within a project, but not when used in global filter.
