The connection is nowhere closed. This results in open connections which results in a 'too many open files'-error.

sorry about my delay @Drawer.
Nice catch, but we aren't developing this project anymore. The first reason is because we finished our internal project that was using it and also because Azure created a SDK to handle with all Azure's services, including storage
