Hello @maguowei,
From what I see the generation of awesome-stars speak about a license CC0 1.0 Universal in the bottom for the README.md.
What do you think about allowing user to add a LICENSE file and just refer in the README.md to this file if it exist by adding the paragraph License.

I add LICENSE FILE in the template: https://github.com/maguowei/awesome-stars/blob/master/LICENSE

The simple way to create an awesome-stars repository is to use this as template.

see: https://github.com/maguowei/starred#use-awesome-stars-as-template

Sorry, I was not clear enough.
In the bottom of generated README.md, you select license CC0 1.0 Universal, if someone what to use a different license, it's better to not precise the license in bottom, but just put link to the License file.
In my repository, I have chosen MIT License.
