The build times out when using RBX on Travis CI (>10 minutes). This happens after the first suite of tests.

It's definitely the test using threads which is causing the problem, though there are a bunch of failing tests using RBX when that one is commented out.

I'll keep investigating!

These additional issues appear to be a consequence of a 'bug' in mail, which would actually be a 'bug' in Rubinius, which is actually a quirk of the native language implementations of the MRI and JRuby virtual machines…

The good news is the fix for mail has been merged into mail's master, and should be in the next release. Will keep my eye on the mail releases and bump our required version when appropriate.

Thanks for tracking down this bug. I will adapt the travis.yml to not fail because of rubinius.
