Inform when mainsail can't fetch new data from printer

Requested feature:

Grey out mainsail UI or display a notification somewhere (that doesn't obscure any elements, so it won't randomly inconvenience user) when it couldn't fetch any data from printer for x seconds.

Solves the following problem:

Sometimes when for example my printer loses connection with wifi, mainsail still shows its stats for a while, that are stale. When there will be some information that the data displayed is for example from past 30 seconds, I'll know that I can't trust what it shows now. I still want to be able to view mainsail, just with information that I need to wait for reconnection with mainsail.
