Windows Installer unwelcome changes #3647

I've noticed a few changes in the windows installer that are not good.

The Mantidplot desktop shortcut has lost it's icon
The console window is displayed
The release information on the splash screen is so long it runs off the end (date formatting?)

This issue was originally trac ticket 2800
