Now that we have a monitor on our beamstop (M4) we’d like to be able to sometimes use this for our transmission measurements rather than M3. Before leaving Steve Williams gave us a command to use in our mask file which would allow us to shift the position of the monitor which we used for transmissions:
TRANS/TRANSPEC=4/SHIFT=
I have found that when using the SANS gui this command (and therefore M4 position) is only applied to the SANS files and not the transmission or direct beam files and therefore the monitor is in the incorrect place for the transmission calculation.
