See attached script. This script this isn't performing the filtering expected! Fails when loading raw POLREF data, like POLREF00006224.raw from cycle_12_1. The number of values returned before and after filtering is the same. This is because the periods are not being loaded correctly.

the icpevent log provides a CHANGE_PERIOD flag rather than a CHANGE PERIOD flag.
