To fix http://trac.mantidproject.org/mantid/ticket/5576, we had to bring in a new synthetic log called proton_charge_by_period. For data loaded from ISIS Nexus files, this was easily achieved, because the necessary array was available under the periods group. The same log needs to be made available via data loaded from ISIS Raw files. Freddie, thinks that this is possible, but will require some internal calculations.
