We have had a crash report from a Mac Lion user.

To reproduce you simply:

  • Open MantidPlot (on OS X Lion)
  • Load a file
  • Go to File->Save->Project
  • Click the "Where" spinbox and the app dies.

A similar issue has been reported on the qtcentre mailing list:
http://www.qtcentre.org/threads/51625-QFileDialog-getSaveFileName()-issue-on-Max-OS-X-10-8 which suggests that an empty bundle identifier might be the problem.

This ticket will add a bundle identifier "org.mantidproject.MantidPlot" using the guidelines here as it must be unique on the machine: http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/general/Reference/InfoPlistKeyReference/Articles/CoreFoundationKeys.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP40009249-SW1
