Mantiplot: Add text tool does not work on qtiplot graphs

This issue was originally TRAC 6450

Create a qtiplot table:
fill with some numbers & create a graph

Try to add some text using the text tool.

Nothing happens (it works for workspace based graphs)

Data display toolbar no longer activated when the Add Text tool is activated.
