In the course of unscripted testing http://trac.mantidproject.org/mantid/ticket/6402, I found I could not do any function fitting. This may be because the toolbar button is missing and the documentation is not up to date with alternative instructions.

To test run the parts of the test described in http://trac.mantidproject.org/mantid/ticket/6402 for fitting.
