Does geojson.io send any data to the server?

Hello,

I was wondering if while creating maps using this geojson.io, does any of the data (dataset points) gets sent to the server?
Am asking this because there is a Node.js component to the package.

I wanted to add this feature MapSafe Website to allow users to create maps - "MapSafe: A complete tool for achieving geospatial data sovereignty". Thus, it would provide a one stop shop for users with sensitive data.
