Wrong Weapons for Engineer when using Spy Disguise

Description

When one disguises as the engineer when there is no engineer on the enemy team as a spy, the weapon will not appear as 'shotgun', which is the default weapon. It will bring up a weapon that is not at all related to the engineer, like the scattergun or the grenade launcher. There are also glitches where they hold a knife instead.

There are also some visual glitches with Pyro and Demoman due to certain weapons like the Ali-Baba Wee Booties and the Bootlegger, but I don't know if that is a bug problem or if it is a visual art issue.

Here's an explanation by prominent spy Youtuber Mr. Paladin about the glitch, watch from 7:23, or, I quote:

Engineer disguise is often buggy, sometimes holding an incorrect weapon type for the class, or even sometimes still appearing to hold the knife.

A good example of the knife scenario comes from the video 'How 2 Spy', where a disguised spy as an engineer is holding a big earner at 2:34.

Reproduction

1. Disguise as any class other than the engineer on the enemy team.
2. Disguise then into the engineer.
3. The result is the engineer 'holding' as his primary the last weapon that you held while you were disguised as. When you switch to another weapon using 'B', you cannot switch back to the primary.
