Currently Matomo for WordPress is not supported. One of the reasons being that we don't have the Matomo API enabled in Matomo for WordPress for security reasons and that Matomo is not managing the users but WordPress.

So we'd need to accept WordPress login data and make use of the WordPress JSON API.

This be quite a major change and we'd basically need to be able to connect with two different APIs depending on the connected account. I think MultiSites is disabled too so we'd need to workaround that one and also somehow detect whether someone is using Matomo for WordPress or Matomo On-Premise.

Alternatively, we'd need to allow to connect to the Matomo API using app specific tokens but we might not want to do this. It would then not need any change in Matomo Mobile except for explaining to people they need to use the app token to log in.

Once feature is available let users know in:

Any update on when this might be a priority? Wordpress is one of the largest CMS platforms currently supporting nearly half of all websites worldwide. Fully supporting this platform with your mobile app would seem like a good initiative.

Hi @nasiralamreeki unfortunately it's not a priority just yet. We're currently hiring a WordPress developer and then it may become a priority but I can't promise there anything unfortunately. The Matomo API works very differently from the WordPress API so we're still needing to explore further how to make this work.
