as part of the qt5 conversion qt4_compat get renamed to qt_compat.py.

This breaks a lot of my code.

MNT : replace and deprecated qt4_compat
3b67b1d 
As part of the work to support qt5 qt4_compat got renamed to qt_compat.
Replaced the module for graceful deprecation.

Closes matplotlib#3172
