Dear mvdevs,

The last official release was (according to github) in 2018, more than 5 years ago, however there are bugfixes and new things being added to the project constantly on a weekly basis since then.

When do you plan to make yet another official release or is it safe just to download the newest commit and use the files? As I can see, the official release has an installer.exe, so that's just more convenient but not recommended?

Thank you!

The latest release has indeed been back in 2018, but the project is still being worked on and we hope to release a new version soon. These are the open pull requests we want to finish/review/merge before the next release:

The master branch has a lot of fixes and features that came after 1.4.1 and as we usually review bigger changes the master branch is usually considered stable and can probably be considered as more stable and reliable than 1.4.1 at this time. GitHub actions should generate artifacts for new commits pushed to the master branch. In theory these should also include a build of the installer version: https://github.com/mvdevs/jk2mv/actions/runs/4855738991. The artifacts should be at the bottom of the page.
