stuck in Word 2010: Restrict or Prevent Editing

While open a .doc file and press arrow down, NVDA stuck in the window.
The case happened in MS Word2003, 2010.

The attachment included (a .log file and a .doc file).
The .doc file is a Chinese document. It could help developers reproduce the case.

Are you sure that the file isn't opened in protected view? http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word-help/what-is-protected-view-HA010355931.aspx
I can't navigate a file in protected view either. Choosing save file from the ribbon raises the question to leave protected view and navigation works again when left protected view. May be i should file a ticket for NVDA to support reading in protected view.

You could also disable protected view entirely by following this tutorial.

Functionality in Word protected view is covered by #1686.

Without the file to reproduce this issue it is not possible to test the real environment. I suggest to close this issue and reopen if someone reports it with an example document. I am working with MS Word 2010 at work and did not reproduce this issue in the last two years.
