nvda randomly freezing in windows 8.1

nvda will randomly freez in windows 8.1 while navagating around the os, for example, when you alt tab to a different application, nvda will just not speak four moments at a time, in order to get nvda focused again, I need to hit alt tab a lot in quick section. also, when closing a metro app, nvda also freezes. this happens on a 32bit and 64 bit system with the latest stable release of nvda.

Does this problem also occur in next? I'm using Win 8.1 myself and have experienced no such issue.

I have tryied it on next and it does freeze. are you using a 32bit or 64bitReplying to leonarddr:

ok,It freezes on that to. but I[noticed it mor with metro apps when exiting them. but on desktop apps, its ok.Replying to ticket:4784 mayson:

Does this ever happen if you close all Windows Store (a.k.a. modern or Metro) apps and then restart NVDA? That is, does it only happen if a Windows Store app is or was open? If not, I think this is #4572.

Hello jamy, it happens when I close a metro app. not on desktop apps, its all metro. I restart nvda, but yet again, I close a metro app, it does it all over again. I hope this get's resolved soon!
