Есть свои наработки для yii сайтов. Могу порекомендовать

https://github.com/loveorigami/yii2-notification-wrapper удобнее использовать вместо https://github.com/oakcms/oakcms/blob/master/application/widgets/Alert.php
https://github.com/loveorigami/yii2-shortcodes-pack вместо https://github.com/oakcms/oakcms/blob/master/application/components/ShortCode.php
