Digest Authentication returns a 401 status

Using the latest version of OpenRasta from OpenWrap server I can't get digest authentication to work but it seems to work using old DLLs I found from https://github.com/scottlittlewood/OpenRastaDigestDemo/tree/master/lib

With the latest DLLs I just get a 401 return but when I swap to old DLLs my browser brings up the logon box and digest authentication works. I'm using code lifted from the above linked project so it may be that the way of implementing authentication has changed and I'm just doing it wrong. Couldn't see authentication in the documentation. Would prefer to use "Forms" style authentication, is this supported?
