The statusbar isn't a very common pattern in GNOME apps. I'm not sure how much intent Pithos has to adhere to GNOME HIG
and design patterns, but that aside - most of the information displayed in the statusbar is redundant. Maybe we should consider if it's really needed?

It should be removed. I'd like to see it replaced by a GtkSpinner during initial login like other modern GNOME apps.
