Hi there,

this will be my first posting cause Prusa seems to be aloof in everything.
I will give everyone some stuff to discuss and improve, especially the developers.

Support: medium quality, short and sweet, response time clearly too long
Quality: the devices are of acceptable quality, even if some components could be reworked (e.g. the loose tubes under the heating bed)
Delivery time: regardless of internal company sensitivities, more than 2 weeks are completely unacceptable
Technology: apart from a few new features that are completely unimportant to me, I can't find any significant differences between the MK3 and the MK4
Instructions: they may be helpful, but they are also well illustrated. But in the case of changing the thermistor, it's not really useful in some places because there's wrong information, wrong pictures
Accessories: quite good equipment, gummy bears, but no tweezers, no spatula
Spare parts: none needed yet, apart from the thermistor. So can't say anything about prices and delivery times yet. The thermistor was delivered quite quickly at €14
MMUx: Why isn't an MMU available today as a finished module that can be connected quickly and easily? Why do I have to put this together first and make further adjustments to the printer? I have NO desire for that!!!
Forum: a well-filled forum (mostly negative posts) is always a declining indicator. The fewer or at least positive entries the better, the more benevolent the customers are. But Prusa is bursting at the seams with its forum, all errors and problems are already covered, which is what many people now think is great. Conversely, it is an indicator of incompetence, a lack of foresight and not just a technical desert of service. The MK4 hasn't been on the market for that long, but there are already tens of thousands of posts.... Prusa should think about it.

In my opinion, the MK3 has a higher print quality than the MK4, which prints faster but not better and is equipped with a number of not really groundbreaking innovations. The incredibly long waiting time, the silly clicking and the nice information on the small, readable display alone always kill my last nerve. Let's be honest.... a nozzle cleaning in the middle of the air and what are these stupid 49 probe points for??? The same applies to the 3-part heating and the unnoticed retraction of the filament, I thought the beep was really great.

The MK4 may print faster, but not really better. And to still charge €999 for the fact that the MK3 is more than 3 years old is very cheeky. So I thought to myself, I'd rather treat myself to the MK4, the latest technology can't do any harm. The MK4 costs just under €200 more.

I have more in stock, but that should be it for the first round. Oh yes, a separate repository for the MK4 would be more appropriate than pushing everything under the 3 Series.

The MK4 was a bad purchase because I misread the installation space. I need more space. Technically speaking, the MK4 is just a faster copy of the MK3... sorry. If Prusa ever comes up with the idea of giving a MK5 a much larger installation space, leaving out all the bells and whistles and a color module, I could definitely buy Prusa again, at reasonable conditions and delivery times.

Awaiting reactions :-)

Regards
Kai Busch, Hanover Germany

I´m aware, but Prusa Support Team has forced me to post my suggestions and more at github.
Sorry for interruption!
