It would be useful to modify characteristics of the supports' first layer. Many users report having problems with the shape of the first layer (Not sticking correctly with the PEI sheet). My main request is to be able to modify the expansion in mm of the supports' first layer.

As seen in the screenshot from above, the supports' first layer is invading space which won't contribute to nothing. The arrow on the top is pointing to support that is invading space for a screw, which sometimes is easy to remove, but not always. Even disabling the first layer pattern would be helpful for many users.

Is this a new feature request?

Yes.

Leakage through the object walls has been fixed with 539e80e and it is a duplicate of #2245.

Density and expansion of the 1st support layer is configurable on current master, and there will be a single perimeter drawn around the 1st support layer.
