It looks like the issue depends on the layer styling panel. If the layer styling panel is visible from the start, Render Layers as a Group is visible as well.
But if the layer styling panel is disabled from start, I get the message Not supported or no layer when opening the layer styling panel for the group.
If I select my World Map layer and select group1 again, the Render Layer as a Group dialog is visible as expected.
What is the bug or the crash?
QGIS 3.24 introduced the feature
Rendering layers as groups
(https://qgis.org/en/site/forusers/visualchangelog324/index.html#feature-rendering-layers-as-groups) which I cannot find in QGIS 3.36.Was this feature deliberately removed without any indication, or do I miss something?
