Linking to subsections

I noticed that the sidebar navigation links don't actually update the hash in the URL so you can't (easily) share sub-sections with people. It seems like you're doing some fancy thing to scroll to an element with a particular id. Browsers automatically have the functionality to link to particular ids so exposing those ids might be an easy improvement.
