What is this?

This is a personal project to play with creating a data driven web app. Just for fun, my favorite places to eat in Seattle will be showcased.

How to install

Method 1. Using Git Clone Run the following command in desired directory:

git clone https://github.com/reescott/seattle-eateries.git

Method 2. Download Zip Click Download Zip button above and unzip in desired directory.

How to run

Start a simple server using PHP:

• Browse to seattle-eateries directory via command line
• Run the following command to create a simple php server:

php -S localhost:8080

• Open your web browser to http://localhost:8080

How to develop

• Run npm install to install dependencies
• Run gulp to compile css and js, as well as watch the files
