I think, for the Dominant Color effect to really show its potential, the user should be able to assign zones of the display to be sampled and be able to use different RGB devices for each of them.

For simplicity's sake, those zones could be predetermined, and I think the best way to go about it would be "top", "bottom", "left", "right" and "center".

This would create a more effective color reproduction and would enable a "color bleeding" kind of thing.

Heres roughly the ratios that I think would yield the best results:
