I have looked at this a bit. I know you can set the API endpoints for Alertmanager, Grafana, and Prometheus using the Ceph CLI. You can set the Grafana username and password, but those same options don't exist for Alertmanager and Prometheus afaict. I have not come across anyway to configure an endpoint for Loki in Ceph. I wonder if there are feature requests for these?

Hello,
Checking to see if anyone has a working recipe to make the Ceph dashboard work with an external instance of Loki/Promtail and Prometheus/Grafana?
Context: We have Rook orchestrated Ceph as a part of a larger solution stack, in which we already have Loki/Promtail/Grafana for log aggregation and monitoring and Prometheus/Grafana for monitoring/alerting.
Of course, through the Service Monitors - Prometheus is able to scrape the Ceph related metrics and am able to display them by importing dashboards on the Grafana instance. However, I was looking for ideas to make some of this work on the Ceph dashboard. By default, it only checks to see if there are Loki, promtail, prometheus, grafana services started by Ceph.
Cheers!
