Hello

this is a whistlist bug reported to Debian which I'm forwarding

Sites such as techcrunch.com have started requiring advertising
consent cookies for their feeds. It would be great if I could
specify additional headers to be added to the HTTP requests, similar
to how I can add e.g. bonus-header to the outgoing emails.

I think this can be achieved with https://github.com/rss2email/rss2email#post-processing

This feature would be helpful for consuming the weather.gov API as it requires 'Accept: application/atom+xml' and 'User-Agent:' headers.

Everyone is welcome to bring #213 past the finish line or to submit a better PR. There is no doubt that this feature will be useful, no need to add further comments about it.

What is needed to push this past the finish line? I am currently a user, but happy to test the PR, do code review, or other if that's helpful in getting this issue resolved. Are there contributor guidelines I should read?
