Radio Browser plug-in freezes Ubuntu

If i want to listen some shoutcast radio stations and i go to "Shoutcast>Shoutcast Genre Classical>...rata bit>320>..." and i select, for example, "AVRO Light Classical High Definition" (http://145.58.33.95:8096) this operation freezes ubuntu. In this case i have to reboot the OS. The same happens when i go to "Local>for country>United Kingdom>..." and i select, for example, BBC1(http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/listen/live/r1.ram). This problem doesn't happen for all shoutcast radio stations but only for some of them, like some i have quoted above.
My configuration is: Ubuntu 9.10, Rhythmbox 0.12.8 and Release 2.0 of Radio Browser plug-in.

i know about the random freezes of rhythmbox. but i do not have a clue yet, why this happens.
