It would be nice if we could compress files inside archives, with some optional dependencies of course.

Given that there's already quite some complexity and parametrization in optimizing PNGs, wouldn't this be better suited for a dedicated archive minifier that'd then tweak the archive properties, and call out (by forking or library use) to oxipng to tune PNGs if any are found?
