R scripts and supporting data for high-throughput phenotyping enabled genetic dissection of lodging in wheat.
This repository contains scripts and supporting data neccessary to reproduce my work on digital quantification of crop lodging through unmanned aerial systems (UAS) based phenotyping in wheat. This work was recently published in Frontiers in Plant Science journal, and is part of my PhD dissertation at Kansas State University (Advisor Dr. Jesse Poland). The raw data associated with this project can be accessed here: https://doi.org/10.6084/m9.figshare.6151127. Here is the updates log:
- 03/14/2018: Function to extract plot-level raster points from polygon and raster layers added. 'Parallel' version is implemented for faster calcualtions on multi-core machines.
- 10/26/2018: Added function to estimate plot-level mixture normal parameters from digital elevation models.
