maixpy doesnt recognize my board - m1s dock bl808 #489

Describe the bug
basically the title. i download maixpy and when i try to connect it, the program statys on the "connecting" screen forever and it doesnt work. I tried changing the board in the "select board" but it also didnt work

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
basically just connect a board like mine (m1s dock bl808) to your computer through a usb cable and click on the icon to connect to the board in the IDE

Expected behavior
the IDE should recognize the board and connect to it

Actual behaviour
the "connecting" screen stays on forever and it doesnt connect

  • Firmware version: firmware_20230227
  • Board: m1s dock bl808
  • OS: windows 11

i think its also important to say that i tried installing a new firmware (0.6.2_xx) using kflash but it says that no k210 was recognize and it doesnt install the new firmware. im starting to think that i cant use maixpy with my board because its not k210 based and maixpy was made for it, but im not sure
