What is a TrashMob?
A TrashMob is a group of citizens who are willing to take a hour or two out of their lives to get together and clean up their communities.

Whether the motivation is to better your local community, connect with like-minded individuals, or improve your own mental health and wellbeing, TrashMob provides an avenue for accomplishing these goals. To participate, all it takes is the willingness to get your hands a little dirty and a desire to leave the world better than how you found it. Whether it's your neighborhood, a park, a stream, a road, or even a parking lot of a big box store, all litter being cleaned up contributes to our goal of making this planet of ours a little better for the next generation.

Trashmob is a 501(c)(3) organization, based in Washington State, USA.

We're working on building and improving the TrashMob.eco website and launching the mobile app. Nearly all of the work to date (August 2022) has been done by volunteers from around the world. The size and scope of the site has grown tremendously since the project was started in February 2021, and it's getting difficult to find enough volunteers to continue the development work.

Sponsorship funds will go towards hiring specialists in certain areas of technology to assist in launching the Mobile app, and to add new features in the future. These features will help build the number of communities using TrashMob, and make an immediate and long term impact on the planet!
