I'm a software engineer who loves working on the bleeding edge. A few years ago I got into GUI development while building a 3D game engine written in Crystal. I've put the game engine project on hold so I can focus on building a cross platform GUI toolkit first. I believe such a tool would be a huge boost to the language's adoption.
