We are Noir Blanc Rouge, an independent type foundry established by Bastien Sozeau in 2019, based in Paris. We design and distribute original retail and custom typefaces. In addition to the retail catalogue, we’ve been designing free and open source typefaces since 2010, originally distributed by graphic design studio Uplaod. We try to expand the fonts throughout the years.

Young Serif

Young Serif is a heavy weight old style serif typeface, taking inspiration from Plantin Infant or ITC Italian Old Style. The lowercase b and f feature rounded curves, adding a tender and generous quality to this font.

Formera

Formera (AKA Futura Renner) family is a digital version of Futura lead character belonging to the typography department of Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts de la Cambre, and probably the first draft of Futura as we know it.

Panamera

Panamera is a modern sans serif font family. It comes in six weights, from Thin To Heavy, contains a full glyphs set, including multilingual support, openType features and also a variable font version.

Panamera font works well both for texts and titles and can be used for a wide range of projects.

Lil Grotesk

Lil Grotesk is a geometric sans serif font family, it is circular in style but with a slightly naive appearance.
It comes in six weights, and a variable version, including multilingual support and openType features.

Lil Grotesk font is perfect for headlines, short texts, posters, logos, branding and more.

LibertineSuper

LibertineSuper comes in seven weights, and a variable version, including multilingual support and openType features.

LibertineSuper’s got these cool decorative lines in its default style, but if you’re more into easy reading, just hit up stylistic set 1 for a cleaner look. Fun fact: This font was born for the Libertine Supersport party’s vibe – so it knows how to party while looking sharp!

Nemoy

Nemoy is a geometric display font family. It comes in five weights, from Light to Heavy, contains a full glyphs set, including multilingual support, openType features and also a variable font version.

The Nemoy font as originally been designed for a student project about Philip K. Dick, mostly for books cover titles, but Nemoy can be used for a wide range of projects.

Beon

Beon is a Neon stencil typeface, comes in a single weight, including multilingual support and openType features. Beon can be used for a wide range of projects.

The Beon font as originally been designed for the movie BangBang by Raphael L. Lungo, the typeface has been develop for the appearance of the names of actors and the final drop.
