We are a FinTech non-profit leveraging the cloud, mobile & open source community to democratize financial services worldwide and digitally transform the world’s 3 billion poor and underbanked! For the past two decades, we have been an industry pioneer and thought leader launching groundbreaking open source core banking solutions.

🌍 Our Work

We guide the open-source community, steer the roadmap, and steward the vibrant ecosystem of organizations building solutions on our open platform. Essentially, we provide a set of Open Source Buildings Blocks for digital financial services consisting of re-usable and pluggable components that support the common core banking requirements.

Our end to end open-source architecture for digital financial services can power an entire ecosystem with multiple layers of open APIs at the solution and application level that fuel innovation on top of digital interoperable payment rails - Open Source Banking APIs for flexible account management from Mifos and Fineract, Open APIs for Payments Interoperability via Mojaloop, and app-level innovation enabled by Open Banking APIs and reference mobile apps. 🚀 Platinum - We lead the roadmap and maintenance for the Fineract platform and guide the development of more than a half dozen web and mobile apps for technology-enabled financial inclusion. We face a critical barrier in making timely and regular releases of each of these apps. This sponsorship would cover the full costs of a dedicated community engineer to handle the dirty jobs across the community that help the project function smoothly including managing the release process, reviewing and merging pull requests, and helping steward and onboard new contributors.
